Some household appliances which import to China have to obey e-waste recycling and hazardous substance control requirements. E-waste recycling requirements are regulated in The Administration Regulation on the Recovery and Disposal of Waste Electronic and Electrical Products (China WEEE), while hazardous substance control requirements are regulated in the Administration Measure for the Control of Pollution for Electronic Information Products (China RoHS).
